We are all missing Disney parks right now so we are finding the magic in everyday to live some #disneymagicmoments. I have rounded up some of our favorite ways, recipes and activities that we have been doing at home to still feel that Disney Magic.
Favorite Disney recipes and food

From breakfast to dinner and all the snacks in between here have been the Cheers Family favorites!
-Mickey Waffles grab some frozen faves or really bring the parks home with the Mickey Waffle Maker with your favorite recipes.
–Mickey Ice Cream bars and sandwiches. These really taste like the park!
–Grey Stuff from Red Rose Tavern in Disneyland. Try the grey stuff it’s delicious!
–Disney Parks Churros. Making them bite size is a lot easier than trying to make them long, just a helpful tip. Printable recipe here
-Goofy’s Kitchen Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza. Straight from our favorite restaurant Goofy’s kitchen! I use refrigerated pizza dough, cook the dough as directed. 3/4 cup of peanut butter melted, spread across cooked dough. 1/2 cap of jelly melted. Drizzle on top, you can pull a knife through gently on top to create swirls.
Favorite Disney Activities and Homeschool fun
Filling our newly entered homeschool days with some extra pixie dust has helped infuse some magic! Here are some of our favorite printables, activities, apps and learning sites.

–OSMO we love this system! Their super studio kits take the kids into the world of Disney and has them following along as the artist.
–Imagineering in a Box: Khan Academy has partnered with Disney, Lessons compile expertise of Disney Imagineers from hundreds of career disciplines around the world to share with learners of all ages. As part of the 35 educational videos, the curriculum features project-based exercises that apply science, technology, engineering, art and math that allow learners to create themed experiences
-Disney Journal: Instead of typical journal prompts to keep them writing daily we have been answering the tough questions in our journals. Important entries like which would you choose a churro or Mickey Ice Cream?, or if there were no lines which ride would you go to first? We are still remembering to write the date, our names, opening sentences, key details and conclusions, just as important as answering would you rather go on Splash Mountain or Grizzly Rapids.
-Helping Keep our spirits high we have been finding and printing inspiring favorite quotes from Walt Disney and movies. We got the idea from here to paint and frame them too.
-Storytime with Disney Friends has been a hit. Our favorites have been Forky in Craft Buddy Day and The Little Mermaid
-Watching Disney Parks Attraction & Show Videos has put us right into the magic. Our favorite’s are Disney’s Magic Happens Parade and riding the Incredicoaster. Head to Disney Parks Youtube for all the magic from the parks across the world.

-Animation Academy: We pretend we are sitting in one of Braden’s spots in California Adventure and following the cast member draw our favorite characters. Checkout videos on drawing characters.
–Personal Princess Calls: Our favorite Princesses have called Alice and done dance with her over zoom. You just message the page and give the princess information about your child ahead of time so they can speak with detail during the call.
-Free Printables: From decoding to alphabetizing, and coloring the possibilities are endless. We have found some great art projects too, here are some of our favorites: –It’s a Small World coloring Page –Mickey Bubble Art –Disney Coloring Pages
When you’re curious you find lots of interesting things to do -Walt Disney
We have been striving to live our days like this. We have more time to do things and experience things we normally wouldn’t have time for. Yesterday we decided to make soap for science, naturally in Mickey heads! As we look forward we spend the car rides to pick up lunch listening to the music of Disneyland and dreaming of our next trip.
Our favorite hotel, Howard Johnson Anaheim is now accepting reservations starting July 1!!! Book your stay

If you’re looking for help planning your next trip, with dates flexible like ours, we have been working with Getaway Today
