Got everyone tucked in so that I can finish the weekend with some ME time! Thanks to @moviesonrow8 I downloaded a movie just for me and nestled into my beanbag chair! ⁣

@universalpictures new thriller #youshouldhaveleft was the perfect night in for me! @kevinbacon and @mingey star in the new release and loved them both in it! Getting trapped in a haunted mansion doesn’t sound all that bad, but this thrilling movie had me cozying up under my blanket! ⁣

We have officially reached the phase of summer where “I’ll allow it” is cream treats and sprinklers at 9 am. #ad We’re trying hard to #protectthefun and live for the everyday memories that they are going to remember. We might not have a big vacation planned but that doesn’t mean they aren’t going to remember the big fun we had. Mixing in some unexpected moments like breakfast sprinkler runs brings out so much laughter, we’re determined to keep the everyday joys flowing. ⁣
⁣
Protecting the fun and them is all part of my job as Mom, and I like to keep it easy so they can help! Every time someone sees me with our @bananaboatbrand kids sport sunscreen stick they always say “that’s genius what is it!?” I love the stick for their faces especially to get protection under their eyes to keep their skin safe from harmful UV rays. No tears and no stinging! The kids can pretty much do it themselves with a little bit of help and it lasts 2 hours in all our summer and water fun! Even at 9 am we had to get our skin protected for our adventures ahead! If you have any summer fun ideas give them all to me, the wilder the better!

I’ll admit I have been a bit of a cave dweller, not emerging from the house for much since March 13th, but I think I’m ready? Maybe? ⁣

Anyone else ready or already traveling? Either way something to look forward to has been missing these last few months and I will take it!

Next up in our dreaming of getaways, as we prepare for the days that we can, Braden’s choice....vacation at @greatwolflodge ⁣😍

We had no idea what to expect checking in other than there was water slides. This place was totally inclusive literally just show up and have fun! When vacationing transitions and going different places can be hard for families, GWL makes it all easy. The kids loved all the restaurants and snack places, we loved the ease of staying in one places with tons of activities and choices. Best part for my ginger husband is a water park is finally enjoyable because it’s all safe from the sun! I found some discount codes I put in our stories, they are all on track to safely open soon! If anyone is local to us in California a new one is opening in August we’re pumped for!

Next up for where we want to go when it is safe to, Alice’s choice….LEGOLAND! This girl is a master builder and would choose Legoland for her perfect day without hesitation! Legoland is a perfect mixture of theme park rides, water slides and lots of hands on activities and building. Our California resort even has an aquarium and an interactive submarine ride that dives right into the sea creatures!⁣
⁣
One of the things the kids love to do is the mini fig trading, they bring all their lego people and trade with the model citizens through out the park and hotels. Speaking of hotels, the Legoland hotels are one of a kind! You are fully incased in the Lego world! We have discovered so many special treats at the hotels like the treasure hunt, the outside entertainment each night, and the stories told through out the hotels. Everything seems designed with kids in mind, our kids love the special kids only part of the hotel room. ⁣
